 | | - WAVERSAVER® is a combination of software and hardware which allows accurate weight readings despite vibration.
- Num Averages is the number of updates that the module will average together to get the reported weight.
- PRESET - quickly set the WAVERSAVER® and Num Averages to preset combinations:
- OFF: WAVERSAVER® = OFF; Num Averages = 1;
- FAST: WAVERSAVER® = 3.5Hz; Num Averages = 5;
- BALANCED: WAVERSAVER® = 1.0Hz; Num Averages = 10;
- STABLE: WAVERSAVER® = 0.5Hz; Num Averages = 50;
- CUSTOM: WAVERSAVER® and Num Averages value are customized in CUSTOM sector.
- CUSTOM - enter any valid value of WAVERSAVER® and Num Averages.
- WAVERSAVER® + is a superset of WAVERSAVER that uses two additional parmeters, Variation_thd(Variation Threshold) and Motion_thd(Motion Threshold).
- To configure WAVERSAVER+, set the WAVERSAVER and Num Averages parameter to establish the desired response time and accuracy.
- 1. Set the variation_thd to 0.0 and observe the peak to peak variation of the weight value.
- 2. Set the variation threshold parameter to be 1.5 times larger than the observed weight variation.
- 3. Set the motion threshold to 1/3 of the observed peak to peak weight variation.
- For example, if the observed weight change is 6, set the variation_thd to 9 (1.5X) and the motion_thd parameter set to 2 (1/3X).
- Repeat steps 1-3 if any cahnges are mnade to WAVERSAVER and Num Averages.
